"In your own words, Billy, tell us why you would like to be an All Black." "So that I can get an overseas contract." 13 May, 2008

Reference Number: DCDL-0006451

Shows a classroom having a session with the careers adviser. When the teacher asks a boy to explain why he would like to be an All Black he says that he wants the opportunity to get an overseas contract. Refers to the frequency with which All Blacks spend time playing overseas on very desirable contracts and the implication that financial gain may be becoming as great an incentive to be an all Black as the sport itself.
