"I still say it's a good idea!!. I just keep forgetting I put it there!" 21 April, 2008
Reference Number: DCDL-0006210
Shows Prime Minister, Helen Clark, sprawling on the path after having tripped over the 'Electoral Finance Bill' doormat. Her husband, Dr. Peter Davis, stands in the doorway looking perplexed as she angrily insists that she still thinks the doormat was a good idea, it's just that she keeps forgetting that she put it there. Refers to the Electoral Finance Bill that Helen Clark made changes to in time for the 2008 election. The trouble is that its complexities keep tripping the various parties up, including the Labour Party who have broken the rules again.
