Photographic copy of a print of a sketch depicting the south side of Cathedral Square in 1875. Shows the Bank of New Zealand on the Colombo Street corner. The shop on the opposite corner and the adjoining buildings are on the site now occupied by the United Service Hotel. The two-storied building on the right was demolished and the site is now occupied by the Strand Picture Theatre. Artist unidentified. Location of original unknown.
