News. Cullen fund suffering setbacks... 'M.Cullen Investment Consultant. I'll make you a small fortune... from your large one. Let me handle your nestegg and you'll soon have nothing to worry about'. 18 February, 2008
Reference Number: DCDL-0005504
Shows Finance Minister, Michael Cullen leaning against the door of his 'Investment Consultant' office. The notices on the window say that he will make their large fortune a small one and that the client will soon have nothing to worry about if he allows Cullen to handle his nestegg. Refers to an item in the news that the 'Cullen fund' is suffering setbacks in that the government's operating surplus for the six months to December 31 has come in at just $815 million - just a third of the forecast $2.511 billion; this is because it is subject to the vagaries of offshore stock markets.
