"Mmnn.. your outer ear is fine.. it's your 'inner ear' where the problem lies...." 7 January, 2008
Reference Number: DCDL-0005067
A doctor peers with a light into the ear of a large man sitting in his underpants and representing ACC; the light shines through the man's head and out of the other ear. A newspaper that lies on a chair nearby bears the words 'ACC buys new ear for mauled burglar'. The doctor tells the man that while his outer ear is fine his inner ear is where the problem lies. Refers to an opinion that the ACC needs its head read for providing a man mauled in a burglary with a new ear.
