Shows the rather shaken looking pilot of the TEAL flying boat delivering 'hair mail' to an Australian freight driver. The driver asks the pilot "Pretty hairy eh mate?". In the background is the 'hairy' TEAL flying boat looking exhausted and steam rising from its propellers. In the foreground is the emergency landing 'Close Shave Dept.' truck. Refers to the historic event in which a TEAL flying boat made the first airmail delivery between Australia and New Zealand 60 years ago in 9 hours flying at a 'hairy' low altitude.
