Mintshot... Ellis Island. "Ready, aim, fire". 17 November, 2007

Reference Number: DCDL-0004407

Shows a volcanic island called 'Ellis Island' from the tip of which an explosion errupts as someone unseen yells 'ready, aim, fire'. Refers to Mark Ellis who created an explosion in the crater of Mount Rangitoto as a publicity stunt to advertise his new entertainment websit 'Mintshot'. There was some outrage that such a stunt could go ahead without a problem when at about the same time activists were arrested for similar activities.
