"Tell the minister we've uncovered a group who've expressed a desire to blow up the Beehive!" "How big a group?" "Around 4 million at the last census." 27 October, 2007
Reference Number: DCDL-0004255
Shows three men in an office, possibly police or the SIS. One of them asks another to alert the Prime Minister to the fact that they have found a group expressing a desire to blow up the Beehive and when the second man asks how big the group is, the third man comments that it is about four million at the last census. Refers to the police raids in October under the Firearms and Repression of Terrorism Acts though no-one was charged with terrorism. The four million equates to the population of New Zealand.
