Artist Julia Lynch (Sister Mary Lawrence) painting a portrait of Upper Hutt Arts Society president, Eric Brown, in the lounge Bar of the Quinn's Post Hotel, Upper Hutt. The artist is surrounded by mirrors which allowed views of her at work to be observed by the audience. Photographed by an Evening Post staff photographer on the 25th of June 1971.
