Reference Number: DCDL-0003981
Shows Minister of Corrections, Damien O'Connor, standing in front of some new landscaping, talking with a man involved with the building of the new prisons. The man explains that it is necessary to spend $11 million to disguise the number of new prisons being built. In the background is a pile of prisons piled on top of one another; they are 'Springhill', 'Ngawha', 'Auckland Womens' and 'Otago'. Refers to the large sum being spent of the landscaping of the new prisons that have been built because of overcrowding.
