Two tanks in the Massa Lombarda area, Italy, during World War II. Includes a New Zealand 17 pounder Sherman tank "Amgot", of C Squadron, which had scored a direct hit hit on a German Panther tank. Behind the tank is the charred remains of a hay-stack set alight by the flash-back from the tank. Photograph taken circa December 1944, by W K Lloyd.
