Mrs J A Jury and two other women, who are possibly kin to Mrs jury in some way; the women have combed their long hair out, are wearing traditional Maori kiwi cloaks and tiki (greenstone ornaments), and holding traditional weapons. Taken by Frank J Denton in 1908.

Historical Notes: Mrs J A Jury is probably the wife of John Alfred Te Whatahoro Jury (Te Whatahoro) of Papawai; however, Te Whatahoro had nine wives over a period of fifty years, and there is no information about which wife the woman in this photograph may be.
