The scene is a doctor's surgery. A woman with a black eye and bruises and with her arm in a sling denies very strongly that her husband has been abusing her when the doctor asks her this question. Refers to the suggestion that patients be routinely asked this question when the go to a hospital. Follows in the wake of more child abuse cases.
