Across the boundary is bush designated for 'white people'.On the second map of the same area, entitled 'Reserve as it w[oul]d be available for white people', the boundary is horizontal and located two-thirds along the Tauraekaetai Stream. The area above the boundary is marked 'all good bush'; the area below is marked 'good bush available for white people'. Both maps indiciate the Eparaima Maori Reserve, beside the Tauraekaetai Stream and the road.
