Shows blue and black male bird on the left, and the green and yellow-green female on the right. The male plumage is brilliant blue with a black saddle and wings, pale grey crown, black eye mask, short black tail and red legs. The female is shown with her head turned and grooming under a raised wing showing pale yellow plumage.
