A jeep from Combat Command B of US 3rd Armoured Division enters the yard of the farm at Wimmelburg on 13 April 1945, where Allied prisoners of war from Oflag IX A/Z had been billeted by their German guards. The guards had abandonded them on the previous evening. Photograph taken by Lee Hill.
