Historical Notes: The original small Sunnyside homestead in Brook Street, Nelson, (shown in this view to the left of the larger house) was built in 1843 by Alfred Fell. The larger house was built, also by Alfred Fell, in 1854, and later (either 1859 or the early 1860s) bought by Nathaniel Edwards, who had previously worked for Fell. Edwards added a new wing with a ballroom (not shown in this view, because the view predates this event) and the house was renamed Warwick House, after Warwick Castle. By the late 20th century it was also known as 'The Castle' and is now located at 64 Brougham Street, Nelson.
