Historical Notes: Peter Tait and Keith Hay were both involved in setting up the Coalition of Concerned Citizens to fight homosexual law reform. The coalition organised a petition against the proposed legislation. In spite of being billed the biggest petition in New Zealand's history, it failed to prevent the law change in 1986.
