Historical Notes: Senior assistant purser on the Dominion Monarch, Mr G Reid, found this printing mistake in notes he got from a Wellington Bank. The notes were framed and hung in the bureau of the Dominion Monarch. The Reserve Bank of New Zealand promised to pay their face value should they be tendered.
