Execution. 3 January, 2007.
Reference Number: DCDL-0002829
Cartoon of President George Bush dressed as a cowboy. He stands beneath a scaffold holding a rope that is twisted round the neck of a statue of ex President of Iraq, Saddam Hussein. Although it looks as though he is toppling the statue, Saddam Hussein has the rope twisted round his hand in such a way that as he topples, George Bush, who also has the rope round his neck, will hang. Refers to the execution of Saddam Hussein on December 30 2006 and to the continuing American presence in Iraq.
