Shows a portrait of a smiling young Maori girl wearing a woven cloth skirt wrapped around the lower part of her body. Her upper half is bare, save for a string of large beads worn diagonally around her chest. She wears a large pink flower or earring in her left ear, and her hands are folded together on her chest. She is barefoot.
