A bulldozer working on removing a rock face on the Haast Pass highway. A pile of rock has fallen onto the road and the bulldozer's blade is attacking an overhang of rock. A river can be seen between two patches of trees beyond the bulldozer. Photographed by John Pascoe in 1966.
