This photograph from Jack Lovelock's scrapbook shows Jerry Cornes congratulating Lovelock after their attempt on the world three-quarter mile record at Stamford Bridge track on 11 June 1932.Lovelock won and finished outside Jules Ladoumegue's pending time, but he was later awarded the record when Ladoumegue was declared a professional.
