An Auckland waterfront stadium being considered by government....News. "Can we have our ball back. 14 September, 2006.

Reference Number: DCDL-0002297

The scene shows a huge stadium right on the Auckland waterfront. It is hosting the 2011 Rugby World Cup. A ball has been kicked over the edge of the stadium and into the harbour. A seagull and a couple rowing a dinghy look somewhat startled when a man leans over the stadium edge and asks if they will send the ball back. Refers to suggestions that a stadium might be built on the Auckland waterfront in time for the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
