Shows a bunch of violets painted in watercolour at the left, an ink drawing of violets at the right, and two verses of a poem: "Tho' nursed by field, and brook, and wood, / And wild in every feature,/ Spring ne'er unsealed a fairer bud, / Nor found a blossom sweeter. / The violet in her greenwood bower / Where birch boughs with hazels mingle, / May boast herself the fairest flower, / In glen, or copse, or forest dingle" / W.G.B.
