Reference Number: DCDL-0002264
Caricature of Bob Clarkson, National Party MP for Tauranga. He is shown wearing a builder's apron full of tools, as he is a builder by trade, and strikes a moral pose with finger raised. Behind Bob Clarkson, stands Polly Filla, the drag persona of Wellington designer and performer, Colin McLean. He is dressed in drag, wearing black tights and red shoes and top and has a mop of red hair. He is holding a handbag with the word, 'Snatch' printed on it from which he is taking a cigarette. He sticks out his tongue, thinking, 'You should be so lucky'. Refers to Bob Clarkson's remarks about gays, asserting that he has nothing against gays provided they are not rammed down his throat.
