Wrick of the American whaling ship "Alexander" of New Bedford, U S, 421 Tons Register, Francis Dougherty, Master, with cargo of Sperm Oil, &c Mr J H Wallace has recieved instructions from James Smith Esquire, the United States Consular Agent, at Wellington, to sell by Public Auction, at the Exchange, Wellington, on Tuesday, The 23rd February, 1858, ..."
