Inscriptions: Inscribed - Verso - Side of cottage me off to feed the fowls - a permanent occupation. Behind me the tiny sitting-room (where Reo does his writing) - Above, our dressing -room (and store room - terrific pile of junk + apples in rows under the eaves). Notice the trellis wire competely covering thatch to keep out birds (seen especially at top.) Student's thatched cottage opposite, to left. Sea of nettles in foreground!
