[Abbot, John] 1751-1840 :[Purple and green moth. ca 1830]

The front wings are pale pinkish purple, with a larger olive green `patch' of a triangular shape edged in white, on each front wing. Nearer the edge of the front wings are two spots of a darker shade of purple. Wingspan is 30 mm. 12 mm scale above the moth.
