A fire engine, hose pipes, and a ladder, outside Warnock's store, Victoria Avenue, Wanganui, where a crowd has gathered. A fireman stands next to the engine. Next door to Warnock's are the Bank of Australasia, The Wanganui Herald building (with balcony), and Markham & Shewan. School boys, bicycles, cars, and a horse with a cart can also be seen. Taken in 1923.
