Gum field settlement at Sweetwater Hill, Northland, circa 1910. Dwellings and other buildings are dotted amongst the landscape and are constructed of corrugated iron, sacking and wood. A washing line is on the right. Two men stand by horses and a cart on the left, while another two men stand in the centre middle distance. Taken circa 1910 by the Northwood brothers.
