Women's Refuge. "He says he knows we are overworked and underfunded, and that he is the wrong sex, but angry and frustrated men want to hurt him..." 15 May, 2006.
Reference Number: DCDL-0001526
Don Brash, the Leader of the Opposition, stands outside the door of a Women's Refuge with a suitcase in his hand. A woman inside sees him through the window and although he is the wrong sex, she says that angry men want to hurt him and she clearly feels that he should be allowed admission. Don Brash is being attacked for not being entirely honest about American assistance during the run-up to the elections.
