Mugabe. M'Garbage. 10 August 2005.

Reference Number: DCDL-0000048

President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe and a second man are walking along each carrying a briefcase. On the briefcase of President Mugabe is the name 'Mugabe' and on the briefcase of the second man is the name 'M'Garbage'. Two New Zealand cricketers watch them, making the comments 'The man himself' and 'and his speechwriter'. A play on words to make a point maybe referring to the way in which Mugabe tries to make the world see his smashing of the homes and shops of many of his people as 'slum-clearing' for their own good.
