Darcy Heeney Memorial Shield, competed for by boxing teams from Marist Brothers' schools, and presented by Mr and Mrs J Heeny in memory of their son. It commemorates the former welterweight amateur boxing champion who died when the HMS Neptune was torpedoed in the Mediterranean in 1941. Shows a wooden trophy with decorations that include two silver ferns. Photograph taken by Auton Low.
