Reference Number: DX-025-163

A couple are walking through the airport terminal. Outside the window an Air New Zealand plane rests on the tarmac. When the young woman comments that it wasn't a bad flight until the cabin crew went on strike the man is curious to know how she could tell they were on strike. Refers to the Air New Zealand cabin crew strike of July 2005 which interrupted the plans of thousands. The cartoon casts aspersions on the energy and efficiency of the staff.
