Scott, Thomas, 1947-:"In appreciation of your verdict, I'm inviting everyone on the jury to a sleep-over at my place..." Dominion Post, 15 June 2005.

Reference Number: DX-025-136

The scene shows an American courtroom in which Michael Jackson, the pop singer, who has just been acquitted of child molestation charges, makes a speech of gratitude to the jury who look somewhat anxious as he invites them for a sleepover at his place. Beside Michael Jackson sits Thomas Mesereau, Jr. the lead defense attorney who also looks anxious. Probably refers to Michael Jackson's apparent innocence of reality.
