The editor of a newspaper reads a memo to a glum-looking group of journalists who are gathered round his desk. They are being told how they are to be nobbled by parliament until the election. They will be allowed to interview cabinet ministers only about the weather with their hands above the desk (for fear of discrete recording) and that the ministers will be expected to answer only with a question. Suggestive of the level of spindoctoring, lack of real information and general anxiety among ministers.
