In the top half of the cartoon an Iraqi citizen raises his arms in surrender as faceless death wearing a hooded cloak and wielding a sickle approaches him. In the lower half of the cartoon a US marine armed to the teeth approaches a large helpless-looking turkey. The two images depict the different attitudes that the US soldiers and the Iraqi civilians have towards each other.
