Finance Minister, Michael Cullen, thinks it will be hard for the government to ignore Transmission Gully but he thinks that if they try hard they can. Refers to the fact that the decision has been made to develop the Transmission Gully route rather than the coastal option in order to improve traffic flow north of Wellington.
