"Yes, I did consult God before going to war with Iraq..." "Great, so it's my fault now..." 7 March, 2006.
Reference Number: DCDL-0000960
There are two frames. In the first British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, earnestly says that he consulted God before going to war with Iraq. In the second frame God is pictured as a bearded old man, wearing a toga and carrying a book. He is irritated that the blame seems to be being transferred to him. The fact that the cartoonist portrays God is interesting in view of the huge uproar that has resulted recently after Danish cartoonists portrayed Mohammed.
