Map of the coast line of the provincial district of Hawke's Bay, from Mahia southwards to the Waimata River depicting the Maori names of topographical features such as rivers, capes and islands. Has some place names. Some of the names on the map are Waikawa, Kini Kini, Waikopopu and Kahutara (Mahia); Waiohinganga [river] which enters the Ko te Wanganui o Roto, Ahuriri and Mataruahou (Napier); Mutu Mawi (Te Matau a Maui - Cape Kidnappers) and Paoanui, Tuingara and Parimaha (near Pourerere).
