"Die hard Hurricane's fan not coming out unless they make the play-offs..." 28 April, 2005.
Reference Number: DCDL-0000798
The scene is the hallway in a suburban house. From deep inside the cupboard beneath the stairs gleams a pair of eyes. A woman who is standing on the stairs explains to the fireman who has entered dressed in full kit and carrying an axe that the man beneath the stairs refuses to come out unless the Hurricanes make the play-offs. A demonstration of the depth of passion that is more often than occasionally engendered by fans.
