The coalition talks should be very interesting. Hamas. Fatah. 30 January, 2006.
Reference Number: DCDL-0000691
A small image of a journalist in the top right corner is discussing the recent Hamas election victory in Palestine. He comments that coalition talks should be very interesting as he contemplates a very square peg trying to fit a very round hole. This is a reference to the fact that Hamas which is a militant organisation must now become a government but the defeated Fatah Nationalist Movement is refusing to accept the idea of coalition. Hamas has won popularity because of its ability to make substantial improvements socially, reducing unemployment etc.
