Part 1 of a 2 part panorama depicting Taihape township. The railway station is in the foreground. Behind this is a sign advertising the Federal Coffee Palace. On the right are the dining and supper rooms of Ike Plunkett and, next door, a sign advertising a "Fried fish supply".
