Depicts several settlement or pa sites, such as 'Ngahenapouri [Ngahena Pouri] - (Terai's Place)', Te Onetai, Ohinemuri, Opukeno, Kerikeri, Kopu, Mata Mata, Wharenga as well as 'Woods Store' and land area marked 'Thorp' on the Waihau River.Ink pen annotations include ?Matunginaki or Matinginaki Pa, an indeciferable settlement, the road to Matama, the Firth of Thames, the place where the 'party returned on reaching this point', and ?Awhatuatina. Several Maori placenames are drawn on the map, such as Te Raia o te Papa, Te Rua ki Whae Whae.
