"Great. We picked a horse that took twenty three other horses to beat it." 2 November, 2005.

Reference Number: DCDL-0000402

The scene is the Melbourne Cup horse race at Flemington. A man wearing a cow-cocky hat with corks and his wife wearing a large garden party hat are watching the horse they have placed bets on come in with twenty-three other horses ahead of it. The man is perhaps optimistic by nature or alternatively he has a strong sense of irony.
