The interior of the living area at Castle Hill Station, showing station-holder Charles Enys seated on one side of a fireplace with J. R. Philpotts on the other side. One of the men has a dog on his knee. There is a large bookcase at the end of the room, a table, centre, other furniture to the left and right. The ceiling is lined with rafters and wooden planks
