Reference Number: 1/2-037095-F
A boy, in a classroom, writing on a school backboard, probably in the Wellington region. The words on the left board read "Recipes for Happy Children. Given some trees, Some grass and some water, You'll have no trouble, With your son or your daughter." The words on the right board read " We play in the gardens, We swim in the sea, We swing in the parks, And we like being free, We seldom say don't and we never say won't, Although mother's as busy as she can be." Photograph taken by Gordon Burt, between circa 1935 and circa 1950.
