The Haszard family in their garden outside their home in Te Wairoa. One man, with a beard and wearing a bowler hat, stands away from the front doorway. He holds a pair of garden shears. Two women in the middle wear long dark dresses with lace around their necks. On the right stands a woman wearing an apron. Four children are also present. The two girls are wearing dresses and white pinafores. Two other children are dressed in short pants. Taken by Charles S Spencer circa 1880.
