Inscriptions: Inscribed - Recto - beneath image: The finish of the Australasian champion's race at Aqua Caliente, Mexico, which he won by two lengths from Reveille Boy. [He] started slowly but a great burst of speed along the back stretch carried him past the field at the half-mile. As Reveille Boy moved up smartly and raced neck and neck with Phar Lap, but when Elliott [Phar Lap's rider) applied ... the issue was beyond doubt, Phar Lap drawing away to win easily.
